We offer Spanish and French group classes, as well as Spanish, English, French and Arabic in Private classes.
Our Story
It all began in 2001 when our owner and CEO, Elvia Taylor, opened her house to provide English and Spanish classes to adults. She started helping Fortune 500 companies, friends, colleagues, and schools – all from her dining room table! In 2005, Elvia expanded her language learning program, and opened Crossing Borders International Preschool & Camps, located in Houston, TX. Alongside experienced Academic Supervisors, Elvia also created her own material to help parents and teachers teach Spanish. Today, this material is also used in our preschool, and has been an effective language learning tool for the past 10 years! With 20 years of experience, Crossing Borders is one of the top language learning programs in Houston, TX.

We offer the following languages: Spanish, English (ESL), French, and Arabic.

We offer online classes group and private for kids 18 months to 10 years old.
Group -The program runs for 4 weeks but most of our students have been with us for months. Children can join any group that has already started or you may start the 1st of each month.
Private – We require a minimum of 1 private class per week. The classes can run from 30-45 minutes for toddlers to as many hours as you want. Please contact us directly so we can recommend what we think will work best for you and your child.
Group classes are Monday – Friday. The hours depend on the language so please call us to provide you with the correct information.
Classes are held online via ZOOM. An internet connection, laptop/tablet with webcam are both required to participate in these classes.
Group – 6 is our minimum and we go up to 15-18 students in a group

Students receive all required learning materials and language instruction from a qualified Crossing Borders Instructor.
In some classes, yes. Some teachers just use material online and do not require it to be printed.
